Meet the Pigs, Madeline and Penny!
Carissa75@operamail.com
On the left is Penny, who is actually male. We were under the impression he was a she, as indicated by the petstore. We soon found out he is definitley male! He is an English agouti. On the right is Madeline, an abysinnian. She is very gentle and trusting unlike Penny who is hyper and obnoxious! Yet still you fall in love with him despite his demands!

Penny loves to cuddle when he is not bouncing around looking for veggies! He especially enjoys parsely, pears, romaine lettuce, kale and spinach. He was so tiny when we got him at three weeks old. Now hes getting quite chubby! He really does remind one of a waterballoon. Every morning as he hears me coming out of the bedroom, he wheeks as loud as possible, in anticipation of breakfast.
Madeline or Maddie as we call her, is also beginning to wheek in the morning. She is a shy yet mellow pig. Often she will sit in my lap and chat away contently and very softly. She loves cauliflower and pears. We have only had her for two months. We had purchased Penny first but then realizing that Penny really needed a friend, we got Maddie. This was when we thought that Penny was a girl, so soon we will probably have some little ones running around!

This is where Penny and Maddie live. They originally lived in a smaller cage, one which really is only suitable for one pig. So I went out and bought this one and its very spacious. If you look closely you can see one of the pigs inside, giving you an idea of the size. It has a tray for hay and a small box with towels for blankets at night. They have aspen bedding which is safe because it doesn't have the oils in it that pine and cedar do. I have tryed to find Carefresh Bedding but unfortunately it seems in Canada I can't find it. Trying to order it through the internet didn't work as they only deliver to the U.S.

In case you are curious to know who has made this webpage, here is a picture of me. I am 24 years old and married to a wonderful man.
This is Zakariah Francis Cornelous Dander and I have had him for three years, adopted him at age nine months, from a cat shelter. I wanted to get an adult cat because usually they are not picked. Also this way you don't have to pay for neutering, as he came this way!!
This is Bocho Lynn, I adopted her from a woman six years ago. Bocho is turning seven in August. In this picture she is being her usual silly self. She is quite smart as she fetches and is very intune to people's emotions, she can always tell when you are upset and will come over to comfort you every time.

Heres Zak just chilling out!!

Me and my husband!
Just me again!

Next is a serious of random pics of my gerbils.
